This design was inspired by the dramatic beauty of bold florals against soft, aged textures — the kind of blooms that feel both strong and graceful at the same time. I wanted the flowers to feel like they were gently gathered into a flowing arrangement, almost as if caught mid-movement in a breeze.

The background features subtle vintage patterning that gives the piece a timeworn elegance, allowing the vivid blue petals to truly shine. Hints of gold add warmth and refinement, creating a balance between richness and softness. The composition builds upward and outward, guiding the eye through the layers and creating a natural sense of flow.

This project celebrates contrast in harmony — bold colour against muted tones, delicate shapes paired with structured layering, and shine set against matte textures.
