Under the Sea

This design was inspired by the quiet magic of ocean floors — where shells, coral, and sea plants layer naturally over time to create intricate underwater landscapes. I wanted this piece to feel organic and textural, as if each element had been gently gathered by the tide and arranged into a keepsake.

The colour palette draws from coastal tones — soft sea greens, sandy neutrals, weathered browns, and hints of pearlescent shine. The shell forms become the heart of the composition, symbolising protection, journeys, and hidden beauty. Layered seaweed and coral shapes rise behind them, creating movement and depth while framing the focal cluster.

Touches of gold add warmth and a sunlit shimmer, like light filtering through water. The overall effect is tactile, dimensional, and slightly whimsical — a piece that invites the viewer to look closer and discover all the little details.
