Service Description

And that’s where the magic of a Fun Fold begins. In this project, we step beyond the traditional single-fold card and explore how structure can become part of the storytelling. A Fun Fold design invites the recipient to interact, to open, to discover — revealing layers, depth and dimension as the card unfolds. This particular piece transforms cardstock into a miniature architectural scene. With textured brickwork, layered archways, and carefully placed botanical elements, the fold itself becomes the stage. Each panel works together to create movement and balance, guiding the eye through the scene. Fun Folds are about more than clever engineering — they’re about creating moments of surprise. They allow us to combine 2D design with 3D elements, to build depth, and to create visual intrigue from every angle. In this workshop, we’ll explore: How to construct a stable and balanced Fun Fold base How to design across multiple panels so the theme remains cohesive How to layer embellishments without compromising the fold And how to create dimension that feels intentional, not overwhelming If you love tactile design, architectural layers, and cards that feel like small works of art — Fun Folds open up an entirely new creative playground. Facilitator will be in contact with you via email prior your course commencement in order for you to adequately prepare for the workshop.
