In this special retro-inspired workshop from Michael's Card Art, we step into a softer, nostalgic world of vintage florals, timeworn textures, and nature-inspired detail. This collection of four coordinating cards draws on classic botanical illustration styles, aged paper tones, and gentle distressing to create projects that feel like treasured keepsakes from another era. Throughout the workshop, you’ll create: 🌼 A layered floral feature card with soft dimension, muted colour tones, and delicate embellishments that echo vintage pressed flowers. 🪶 A botanical illustration card inspired by antique field journals, combining detailed stamped imagery with subtle background ageing techniques. 🦋 A dragonfly wreath design that blends natural motifs with elegant framing, showcasing balance, movement, and soft retro colour harmony. 🌿 A distressed foliage card with aged textures, layered greenery, and warm sepia accents that bring depth and character to the design. Together, these cards explore how to build richness without brightness — using neutral palettes, gentle inking, layered die cuts, and tactile elements to achieve that timeless retro feel. This workshop is perfect for makers who love nature, texture, and storytelling through paper — and who want to explore how vintage style can feel both elegant and modern at the same time. Online Workshop & Digital Asset Booking Policy At Michael's Card Art, considerable time is spent preparing class materials, kits, and resources to ensure every participant enjoys a rewarding creative experience. Live Workshops (Zoom and In-Person) Cancellations made more than 14 days before the workshop will receive a full refund. Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before the workshop will receive a credit towards a future class. Please contact us to discuss. Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop are non-refundable, as materials and preparation will already have been completed. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person by notifying Michael's Card Art prior to the workshop. As digital products cannot be returned, purchases of online classes are non-refundable. If you experience technical difficulties accessing your class materials, assistance will be provided promptly.
