The World of 3D Cardmaking
Step beyond flat card fronts and into the beautiful, tactile world of 3D paper crafting

Service Description
3D projects bring paper to life. Through layering, shaping, and thoughtful placement, we create depth, movement, and visual storytelling — transforming simple cardstock into scenes that feel almost real. The project featured here is a wonderful example of how dimension can change everything. Notice how the birdhouse sits forward from the background, how the florals rise in varying heights, and how the foliage frames the scene to guide your eye. Each layer plays a role in building a sense of space, just like a miniature stage set. Throughout this class, you’ll learn how to: • Build dimension using layering techniques • Combine die cuts to create realistic depth • Balance foreground and background elements • Use shaping tools and adhesives to add lift and movement • Design scenes that feel full without feeling crowded Whether you’re new to 3D design or looking to refine your dimensional skills, this workshop will give you the confidence to create projects that don’t just look beautiful — they feel beautiful too. Let’s start building in layers and bring our paper creations to life. Facilitator will be in contact with you via email prior your course commencement in order for you to adequately prepare for the workshop.
