Service Description

In this workshop, we slow things down and let beautiful materials do the talking. Working on luxurious watercolour paper, we’ll explore how texture, softness, and subtle detail can create cards that feel effortlessly elegant. You’ll learn how to build delicate layers without overwhelming your design — allowing florals, foliage, and focal elements to breathe. We’ll focus on gentle colour application, soft blending, and the power of restraint, proving that you don’t need lots of embellishments to create something truly stunning. This class is perfect for makers who love refined, timeless style and want to gain confidence working with textured surfaces. By the end of the session, you’ll have a finished card that feels sophisticated, balanced, and beautifully handmade — plus a set of techniques you can return to again and again. Skill Level: Suitable for confident beginners and beyond Style Focus: Soft colour, subtle layering, clean composition Key Techniques: Working on watercolour paper, controlled colouring, elegant dimension without bulk Facilitator will be in contact with you via email prior your course commencement in order for you to adequately prepare for the workshop.
