Welcome to Michael's Card Art

"Michael’s Card Art" is where paper becomes poetry. Through layered textures, gentle dimension, and thoughtful detail, I transform everyday moments into handcrafted projects. Each project is a small story — shaped by colour, feeling, and the beauty I see in the world around me. These creations are more than greetings; they are keepsakes, designed to be held, treasured, and remembered — little pieces of art that carry meaning from my hands to yours.

About Me

“Michael’s Card Art" was born from a time of recovery, where I discovered the healing power of creativity. What began as a simple curiosity grew into a passion for designing greeting cards that celebrate colour, texture, and storytelling.

Today, each piece I create is both an expression of life’s beauty and an invitation for others to be inspired.”

What I Create

At "Michael’s Card Art", every piece begins as an exploration of texture, light, layering and story. Paper is never just paper — it is surface, structure, temperature, and possibility.

Whether framed, gifted, recreated at home, or commissioned for a special occasion, each creation is designed with intention and crafted with care.

What's on my Desk

What’s on My Desk — is my blog, and it's where I’ll share ideas and insights. Sometimes it will be a project I’m working on — a glimpse into the creative process as it unfolds. Sometimes, a short reflection on a technique, a discovery, or something catching my attention in the wider craft world. And sometimes, simply a quiet thought about the joy of making something by hand.

If you enjoy paper craft, thoughtful design, and the quiet satisfaction of creating something meaningful, then there is a seat for you — always — at my table.

It's all on film

Stampin' Up News

Welcome to my weekly Stampin' Up! News update — and as a demonstrator, this is the place where I'll share the latest product releases, creative inspiration, promotions, and noteworthy announcements from Stampin' Up, which means you can find everything Stampin Up.
Each week, I'll keep you informed about new and upcoming products, retiring favourites I believe are worth considering before they're gone, special offers, classes, events, and other initiatives that may interest fellow makers.

I'll also feature a Project Recipe showcasing one of my latest creations, complete with a list of the Stampin' Up! products used, making it easy for you to recreate the project or adapt it using your own creative style.
To round out each update, I'll share Michael's Recommendation—my personal pick of the week. Whether it's a versatile stamp set, a favourite die, an embossing folder, or a hidden gem from the catalogue, I'll explain why I think it's worth a closer look and how I see it fitting into future creative projects.

Whether you're looking to stay up to date with the latest Stampin' Up! news, discover new ideas, or gain a little inspiration for your next project, I hope this becomes a regular stop on your creative journey.
